HOW TO CHOOSE THE SUNGLASSES WHICH IS THE MOST SUITABLE FOR YOU

I.Colorful Options:

Driven by the latest fashion trends, sunglasses are more colorful than ever before. New sport styles are streaked with vivid waves of color. Fashion styles come in a variety of options from saturated color frames to more subdued soft pink or blue lenses. Tortoise and black frames, however, still remain the most popular styles. One should also know that all of these colored lenses do afford UV-400 ultraviolet protection (at least on this website), though the lighter lenses may not give you much squinting relief in bright sunny days. Most light colored lenses however do afford great functionality in cloudy days and even for nighttime wear.

Color Lens Guidelines:

Amber, Yellow or Orange Lenses: These lenses allow some light to pass through the lens making them a better choice for overcast skies, but hard to recommend for use in bright sunny days. Yellow lenses afford excellent visibility in nighttime applications

Blue or Purple Lenses: Great all purpose lenses, their mellow light tint is wonderful and soothing. Also, they afford good protection in sunny days (although not like a dark lens) yet will also carry over into darker conditions.

Brown Copper Lenses: These lenses increase contrast between colors and are the preferred tint for driving. This contrast also cuts glare and sharpens imagery.

Gray, Smoke or Green Lenses: These lenses are the most popular because while they cut bight light they also help to keep colors looking natural.

Rose or Vermilion: These popular lenses provide enhanced contrast and definition in high glare situations such as seen in water and snow sports.

Near Black Lenses: Great protection for very light sensitive eyes and super sunny summer days.

Red Lenses: These babies are out of this world and will put you on Mars; Not good for driving though, as you cannot see the traffic light change to red very well!

Flash- Mirrored Lenses: Regardless of their inherent colored tint, they give the wearer private eyes, (people cannot see what your looking at) and help to reflect oncoming glare.

Polarized Lenses: Popular amongst fisherman, Polarized Lenses have the unique ability to cut glare resulting from light reflecting on water. This allows the wearer to look past such glare and see whats swimming in the puddle, something which would cause the naked eye to squint and still see very little. Put on some of these lenses if you want to spot the proverbial fish.

II.How to Choose the Best Shaped Sunglasses for Your Face

Round:Bold, square or angular frame

Oval:Almost any frame

Square:Oval or round frame

Oblong:Angular, geometric or flat top

1.Many people purchase sunglasses based on the fact that they like the style of the glasses, and never take into consideration that the glasses may not be very well suited for them. But if you want to look your best, use these tips to determine which shaped sunglasses will best suit the shape of your face.

2.The Round Face--Those with a round shaped face should choose sunglasses that have rectangular or square shaped frames. These frames help to minimize the fullness of the face and help add definition.

3.The Square Face--If you have a square shaped face, choose frames that are round or oval in shape. These shapes help to soften angular features that most people with a square face often have.

4.The Heart-Shaped Face--People with a heart shaped face often have high, broad foreheads and a very narrow jaw line. Choose frames that are thin, such as wire frames or aviator frames, to help draw attention away from the forehead and jaw area.

5.The Oval Shaped Face--If you have an oval shaped face you're in luck! Almost any style frame works well with an oval face, so it's a matter of experimenting and determining which style frame you enjoy the most.

III.Choose sunglasses that suit your style

Sunglass styles change every year, just like every other fashion, but the selections are so varied that no pair will ever really go out of style. And since sunglasses don't have to be expensive to be effective, you don't have to spend a fortune to develop a nice collection.

Designer and specialty sunglasses, like the kinds used for sports, cost more than most sunglasses, but you'll find all kinds of fashion glasses for sale at affordable prices. Watch the UV ratings carefully and you'll be fine.

Unless you already know which frame shapes look good on you, go shopping and try on as many styles as possible. If you can get permission to walk outside with glasses on, do it, so that you can find out how they actually work in the sunlight.

IV.other knowledge about purchase a pair of sunglasses

Should you buy sunglasses with polarized lenses?

Polarizing films applied to lenses help reduce the glare created when light bounces off of some objects, such as water, highways and other similar surfaces. I prefer polarized lenses, but it's a personal choice.

Watch for sunglasses with lens scratch resistance

A thin coating can be applied to lenses to make them more resistant to scratches. Plastic lenses scratch more easily than glass lenses.

Sunglasses with mirrored lenses

You've seen sunglasses with a mirror finish on the outside of the lenses. They're popular, but mirrored lenses scratch easily because the mirror finish is applied last.

Sunglasses with photochromatic lenses

Photochromatic (or photochromic) lenses become darker when exposed to UV radiation. The shift happens quickly as your surroundings change from bright to dim.

Buying sunglasses with anti-reflective coatings

Anti-reflective coatings reduce the reflection caused by light that hits the back side of lenses, keeping it from bouncing into your eyes.

Sunglass frame components

Sunglass frames are made from plastic, base metals, titanium, aluminum and many other materials. Try on lots of frame types to compare their weight and to find out which ones feel the best.

Children need sunglasses, too

Children need protection from UV radiation and glare, so take care when buying sunglasses for them. Forget about those flimsy little play sunglasses--get them something that will protect their eyes.

Sunglasses with extra eye protection

1.Sunglass lenses that wrap around to your temples keep out more light and UV radiation than typical lenses.

2.Toss on a wide brimmed hat for more protection from the sun. It'll help keep your skin healthy and younger looking.
